Clinical Trials: NEAC advice to the Minister of Health

NEAC’s analysis and recommendations to the Minister of Health on three of the five points of focus of the Health Select Committee's ‘Inquiry into Improving New Zealand’s Environment to Support Innovation through Clinical Trials’.

The three points of focus are:

  1. streamlined ethics approvals systems
  2. benefit to New Zealand patients through clinical trials
  3. removal of unnecessary barriers to clinical trials conduct.
