AP-NEC2 Welcome function (day zero)

Ministry of Health building - 133 Molesworth St, WellingtonThe Ministry of Health is hosting a Welcome Function for delegates, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Monday 21 October, at the Ministry of Health offices, 133 Molesworth Street, Thorndon, Wellington. 

Please let us know if you plan on attending.

Drinks and canapes will be provided at the function. 

Please note that sign-in labels will be pre-printed and available for pick up from Reception on the Ground Floor.  From there you will be guided to the the Welcome Function, also on the Ground Floor.

Dr Bloomfield qualified in medicine at the University of Auckland in 1990 and after several years of clinical work specialised in public health medicine.

His particular area of professional interest is non-communicable disease prevention and control, and he spent 2011 at the World Health Organization in Geneva working on this topic at a global level.

Dr Bloomfield was Chief Executive at Hutt Valley District Health Board from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, he held a number of senior leadership roles within the Ministry of Health.

Keriana (Ngāti Pāhauwera me Ngāti Kahungunu ki te Wairoa) has extensive senior leadership and management experience in the health sector at primary, secondary and national levels.

She is a former Chief Executive of the Gisborne-based Turanganui Primary Health Organisation and former Deputy Chief Executive and Practice Services General Manager of the Midlands Health Network. She has also been the Planning and Funding Manager at Hauora Tairāwhiti.

Keriana has held a number of senior positions in the Ministry of Health since 2014. She was a finalist in the 2018 Women of Influence Awards.
